PROJECT DEVELOPMENT OFFICER III (Deputy Officer)

UNIT / PROGRAM: Education Division    STATUS: Plantilla - Contractual (SG18)


PLACE OF ASSIGNMENT: FDCP Central Office - Manila

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serves as the Agency’s main coordinator for the planning and execution of assigned projects and programs, including research, presentation, documentation, and reporting;
  • Creates effective project proposals in line with objectives, brand, and visions of the Agency;
  • Represents the Agency in high-level meetings and maintaining relationships with stakeholders;
  • Manages the project and Ad Hoc teams that require input and membership from multiple Divisions of the Agency in the execution of projects and programs;
  • Lead Overseer of the programs of the Education Division
  • Reports to the Head of Education
  • Helps manage and supervise the Division’s film labs and conference programs, including special partnerships and projects;
  • Works closely with the program officer to coordinate the overall program process, from conceptualization, execution, and promotions;
  • Reports to the Head of Education and Management for regular updates and reports, concerns, and high-level approvals;
  • Works with the Agency’s Digital Communications and Production Units and external partners to develop and plan marketing and communication strategies to promote the program to stakeholders;
  • Keep abreast of international best practices related to the programs;
  • Periodically evaluates and create recommendations on the programs based on existing guidelines and practices;
  • Assists in the coordination and preparation efforts for the events and executions relating to the Office of the Executive Director’s projects and events;
  • Review/draft contracts, memoranda, office orders, and other corporate documents;
  • Perform research and interviews on project proposals and events as needed;
  • Drafts communications and reports as needed;
  • Maintains files and records of all assigned events-related matters and documents;  and
  • Performs other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Communication Arts, or any program relevant to the job
  • Two (2) years of work experience
  • Eight (8) hours of relevant training
  • Career Service (Professional) Second Level Eligibility
  • Has excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication
  • Has strong organizational and planning skills.
