PROJECT DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

UNIT / PROGRAM: CreatePH Films Program   STATUS: Contract of Service (COS) - SG 11


PLACE OF ASSIGNMENT: FDCP Central Office - Makati

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and assist in the implementation of CreatePH Films program;
  • Contribute in the development, planning, execution, and monitoring of the annual
  • cycles of CreatePH;
  • Help evaluate and create recommendations on applications based on existing
  • guidelines;
  • Evaluate deal terms and facilitate signing of agreements;
  • Track project status and manage the release of funds for approved applications;
  • Monitor projects regularly to evaluate the progress, compliance, and other areas
  • related to the disbursement of funds;
  • Oversee and ensure compliance of grantees with regard to their return of
  • responsibilities to the FDCP and release clearances based on completed applications;
  • Maintain files and records of all CreatePH-related matters and documents;
  • Recommend updates in CreatePH guidelines;
  • Handle inter-agency coordination in developing and planning for marketing and
  • communication strategy for the promotion of the program;
  • Keep abreast of local and international best practices in film funding;
  • Periodically evaluate and create recommendations based on existing guidelines; and
  • Perform other related tasks needed by the unit.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Communications, Marketing, or any program
  • relevant to the job;
  • At least two (2) years of work experience;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Competent in planning, executing, and monitoring of end-to-end phases of a project;
  • Experienced in drafting and facilitating contracts;
  • Skilled at preparing and conducting presentations;
  • Has strong analytical and interpersonal skills;
  • Demonstrates good attention to details;
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality;
  • Candidate must be willing to travel to different locations if needed; and
  • Creativity and exposure / sufficient knowledge on films/ film industry are an advantage.
