PROJECT DEVELOPMENT OFFICER I
UNIT / PROGRAM: Festivals Division STATUS: Plantilla (SG 11)
PLACE OF ASSIGNMENT: FDCP Central Office - Manila
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the Festival Division’s Inter-Agency Assistance Program (IAPP) and Festival Partnership Program (FPP);
- Coordinate the programs’ implementation and initial application process with National Government Agencies, Local Government Units, and Non-Government Organizations, including acknowledging receipt of inquiries and submissions, and releasing notices of granted and declined applications;
- Evaluate and create recommendations on the applications based on existing guidelines;
- Coordinate the signing of agreement for approved applications;
- Coordinate the logistics for onsite and online events and/or the release of grants committed by the FDCP;
- Provide guidance in the proper utilization of the grant and drafting of reports;
- Monitor the return of service responsibilities and release clearances based on completed partnerships and grants;
- Coordinate with other Divisions concerned in the fulfillment of the partnership and/or grant;
- Maintain files and records of all program-related matters and documents;
- Periodically evaluate and create recommendations on the programs based on existing guidelines and practices;
- Keep abreast of best practices related to the programs;
- Report to the Division Head and Management for regular updates, concerns, and high-level approvals;
- Assist the Division in ad hoc responsibilities; and
- Perform other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications or any program relevant to the job
- At least one (1) year of work experience
- Career Service (Professional) Second Level Eligibility
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Competent in planning, executing, and monitoring of end-to-end phases of a project
- Experienced in events management
- Skilled at preparing and conducting presentations
- Has strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates good attention to details
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Self-starter and proactive
- Can work under minimal supervision
- Willing to travel to different locations if needed
- Creativity and exposure / sufficient knowledge on films/ film industry are an advantage
