MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) proudly opens the Philippine Film Industry Month (PFIM) with a special lineup of hard-hitting iconic films from 1976.

Rediscover the masterpieces of an era that helped shape Philippine cinema and the nation’s consciousness through the PFIM Tribute Screenings and Film Talkbacks, happening at FDCP Cinematheque Centres nationwide from September 5 to 26, 2026.

The Philippine Film Industry Month (PFIM) 2026 Tribute Screenings commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Second Golden Age of Philippine Cinema and promotes appreciation for Philippine cinema through a lineup of screenings, film talks, and other activities all available to the public across the FDCP's Cinematheque Centres nationwide.
