The International Film Studies Assistance Program (IFSAP) is a program of the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) that supports Filipino filmmakers who want to be more exposed to the best filmmaking practices of other countries. A program for Filipino talents who make waves internationally. FDCP believes in the importance of collaboration, hence encourages more Filipino filmmakers to discover various opportunities by participating in international film study programs, labs, and workshops.

The Film Education Convention (FilmEC) bringing together film creatives from the academe and in the industry. This activity-filled event features screenings of exemplary student short films, panel discussions, plenary talks, film book sales, and networking opportunities for film students and educators.

The Academic Film Society (AFS) is the FDCP-led association of schools, colleges, and universities in the Philippines with existing film programs, film courses, film clubs or related student organizations.

The Student Film Assistance Program (SFAP) is a funding program exclusively offered to students who are currently enrolled in AFS-registered colleges and universities and will be producing their thesis film. Successful projects may receive a grant amounting from PHP 30,000.00 to PHP 50,000.00 for the production of a thesis film project.

Now on its 8th edition, the Sine Kabataan will be conducting an open call for story concepts from young filmmakers from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao to continue its goal of supporting young filmmakers from project development to production of their films.

The Film Industry Conference (FIC), first conducted by the FDCP in 2017, aims to bring together international experts and stakeholders to share and discuss the latest trends, opportunities, platforms, and cooperation that Filipino producers and filmmakers can explore for the development, production, and distribution of their projects with the intent of crossing beyond local borders.

FDCP Film Talks designed for aspiring, emerging filmmakers and other audiences who want to learn more about filmmaking with leading film personalities as mentors sharing the latest on the craft, the years of experience, best practices, techniques, and insider knowledge straight from the industry masters.

The FDCP Film School Program has been created to provide film education, trainings and series of workshops to aspiring Filipino filmmakers and film practitioners under the tutelage of established local and international mentors. The program offers film activities that will enhance the interest of future Filipino filmmakers, and develop the audience and filmmakers’ film awareness and skills necessary for quality film production.
