The FDCP discusses partnership with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) for Cinema Rehiyon and other projects
The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) discussed future collaborations for Cinema Rehiyon and other NCCA projects on April 25 in Manila.
The FDCP has continuously partnered with NCCA for its flagship project Cinema Rehiyon, which aims to promote the Philippines’ rich cultural heritage by showcasing regional films and narratives.
The FDCP also discussed avenues for supporting other NCCA programs and initiatives for the development of Philippine cinema.
The FDCP was represented by Chairman Joey Reyes, Executive Director Dan Morales, and Education Division Head Rica Arevalo. The meeting was also attended by NCCA National Committee on Cinema (NCC) Head Butch Ibañez, NCC Vice Head Tito Valiente, NCC Member Jag Garcia, and NCCA Program Officer Josh Isidera.
