Festivals Division

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Management

 

  1. Manage the festival division’s spotlight: Philippines program, including coordinating with festivals organizers in the execution of partnerships and programming of films and activities;
  2. Assist in the planning and execution of the FDCP’s participation in international film festivals and markets;
  3. Coordinate and negotiate with festival and market organizers and suppliers on the participation, booth activation; and other requirements needed by the agency;
  4. Monitor the schedule, booking, production, and other preparations to ensure that all deliverables are within timelines;
  5. Coordinate with the external communications division in the conceptualization  and publication of booth design, campaign themes, and collaterals, and release of promotional materials related to the mission;
  6. Coordinate with participating films, projects, and filmmakers on their participation; and
  7. Plan, manage, track budget and expenses.

 

Program Research and Strategy Development

 

  1. Assist in establishing process for lead generation and nurturing;
  2. Establish the baseline and update data and basic profiles of international film festivals and markets;
  3. Research necessary information regarding international film festivals for program development.

 

Administrative Functions and Duties

 

  1. Prepare close out reports with findings and analysis for each activity;
  2. Maintain files and records of all mission-related matters and documents;
  3. Periodically evaluate and create recommendations on the missions based on existing guidelines and practices;
  4. Keep abreast of international best practices;
  5. Report to the division head and management for regular updates, concerns, and high-level approvals;
  6. Assist the division in ad hoc responsibilities; and
  7. Perform other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

     

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor's degree relevant to the job
  2. No experience required
  3. No training required
  4. Career Service Professional/Second Level Eligibility
