Accountant II
Administrative and Finance Division
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop an accounting system and strong internal control that serves the needs of the Council which ensures that its revenues (if applicable)/subsidiaries are received, and expenditures made in accordance with existing laws and regulations;
- Perform all accounting activities such as:
- Review the reports submitted by the accounting staff in relation to the Council’s Financial Statements;
- Classification, recording and preparation of financial reports;
- Consolidation, analysis and interpretation of financial reports;
- Maintain the books of accounts of the Council;
- Timely submission and reliability of all financial reports including BIR, Pag-ibig, Philhealth & GSIS;
- Action on documents, letters, memoranda from different stakeholder, management, COA, and other oversight agencies;
- Provide technical assistance to offices/divisions/units;
- Perform other assignments as may be assigned by the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) - AFD and the Management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Business Administration major in Accounting
- At least one (1) year of relevant experience
- Four (4) hours of relevant training
- RA 1080 (Certified Public Accountant)
