Our programs strengthen the future of Filipino cinema by nurturing new talents providing assistance for filming production offering film incentives that encourage creativity celebrating the artistry of film festivals that bring stories to audiences and preserving the rich cultural cinema and history of the nation for generations to come

Programs

Special Programs

FDCP Special Programs include annual celebrations, film competitions, roundtable discussions, recognition programs, film funds and labs.

Festivals

FDCP promotes Filipino films through cultural and commercial programs, partnering with local and international institutions, festivals, and markets to showcase Filipino cinema.

Film Philippines Office

The Film Philippines Office (FPO) offers the Film Incentives Program to attract international productions, film location and the International Co-Production to support Filipino film partnerships.

Education

FDCP implements education programs to develop the skills and expertise of Filipino filmmakers, preparing them for careers in the local and international film industry.

Production Support

In line with this, FDCP’s CreatePHFilms Funding Program was launched to ensure that the government provides support to filmmakers to complement their efforts to produce quality Filipino films.

Exhibition

FDCP supports the exhibition of completed Filipino films by operating Cinematheque Center venues and the FDCP Channel, providing platforms to screen films to Filipino audiences.

Diplomatic Relations

FDCP prioritizes collaborations with diplomatic and international institutions to represent the Philippine film industry in bilateral and multilateral discussions on policy and best practices, while facilitating film events to promote world cinema.

Philippine Film Archive

The PFA aims to make the nation’s history and culture known and accessible through the filmic medium, not only by conserving and preserving but by introducing the moving image of the past into contemporary life.

The Philippines offers a wide range of unique film locations where every landscape becomes part of the story from vibrant cities and historic landmarks to breathtaking natural wonders each destination provides filmmakers with the perfect setting to bring their vision to life
