MANILA, PHILIPPINES— In celebration of Philippine Film Industry Month (PFIM), the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) proudly presents Sine Kabataan Short Film Festival 2025. Now in its 8th edition, the festival will showcase a diverse lineup of ten (10) short films by young filmmakers from across the regions, premiering September 5-7, 2025, at the Red Carpet Cinemas in Shangri-La Plaza, Mandaluyong.

After an extensive development and deliberation process, this year’s selections highlight  youthful creativity and diversity, featuring a mix of genres that explore family, comedy, the surreal, and animation.

The festival will also host a series of talkback sessions with the Sine Kab filmmakers, offering audiences an intimate look into their creative journeys.

Sine Kabataan remains committed to empowering emerging filmmakers from across the regions by providing resources and a platform to showcase fresh perspectives on familiar issues.
