MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) is thrilled to announce the opening of Cycle 1 of the Film Philippines Incentives 2025 applications. Spearheaded by its Film Philippines Office (FPO), the program aims to empower local production companies through foreign collaboration and promote our locations as a viable filming destination.

Film Philippines offers three programs to support international projects: 

 1. Film Location Incentive Program (FLIP)

• FLIP is a 20% cash rebate of up to ₱25 million ($450,000) for international projects that engage a Filipino company to provide line production, animation, and/or post-production services in the Philippines.
• Accepted projects may receive a 5% cultural bonus, increasing the total rebate to ₱30 million ($540,000).

2. International Co-Production Fund (ICOF)

• ICOF is a program that offers up to ₱10 million ($180,000) incentive for international projects co-produced with the Philippines.
• Accepted projects may receive bonuses of up to ₱2 million ($35,000) for cultural merit and a guaranteed ₱1 million ($18,000) for ASEAN co-productions. 

3. Film Location Engagement Desk (FLEX)

• FLEX is an inter-agency production assistance for government permits, locations, and production logistics as support to local and international filmmakers. This service includes engagement with Philippine production companies, technical suppliers, and crew. 

By offering incentives and services, the FDCP continues its commitment to strengthening Philippine cinema while encouraging international partnerships.
