FILM PHILIPPINES INCENTIVES 2026 CYCLE 2 NOW OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS
MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), through its Film Philippines Office (FPO), opens applications for Cycle 2 of the Film Philippines Incentives (FPI). FDCP invites eligible local production companies, animation studios, and entities collaborating with foreign partners to apply.
The FPO supports international film and audiovisual projects through two key incentives, the Film Location Incentive Program (FLIP) and the International Co-Production Fund (ICOF).
FLIP provides a 20% cash rebate of up to ₱25 million ($424,000) for eligible international projects in partnership with Filipino audiovisual service providers, while projects that prominently showcase Filipino culture and creativity may also qualify for a 5% cultural bonus, increasing total rebate to ₱30 million ($508,000).
Meanwhile, ICOF offers up to ₱10 million ($169,000) to projects co-produced with the
Philippines. Qualified projects may also receive a cultural bonus of up to ₱2 million ($34,000), while ASEAN co-productions are guaranteed an additional ₱1 million ($17,000).
