THE PHILIPPINES GOES TO CANNES MARCHÉ DU FILM 2023!

The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), the country's national film agency, is leading the Philippine delegation to Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes that will be held in France from May 16 to 27.

Filipino films that will be exhibited at Marché du Film this year are: “TOPAKK” directed by Richard Somes, and “Her Locket” directed by J.E. Tiglao. A Filipino project entitled “RIA” by Arvin Belarmino is also included in La Fabrique Cinéma 2023 selection.

Four Filipino producers will participate in Spotlight Asia, a newly launched program that aims to strengthen connections and co-production initiatives between Asia and Europe. Two Filipino delegates will also be joining the Cannes Producers Network where film producers around the world can present their projects to potential investors.

Furthermore, the FDCP has officially selected 17 film companies as representatives to Marché du Film to explore potential partnerships with their international counterparts.

The FDCP, along with the Singapore Film Commission, will host the Philippine-Singapore Pavilion where delegates around the world can join in-depth discussions and be introduced to Philippine cinema.

Best of luck to the Philippine delegation!
