- FDCP, DOT, & TIEZA to hold groundbreaking ceremony for the new Philippine Film Heritage Building
MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Through a tripartite agreement between the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), the Department of Tourism (DOT), and the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA), the construction of the new Philippine Film Heritage Building in Intramuros, Manila will officially commence through a groundbreaking ceremony on October 26, 2023.

Cinematheque Centres
The Cinematheque is one of the vital projects of the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) under the Exhibition Division which aims to promote programs and activities for audience development and film appreciation thereby creating a film culture across the country.
The Cinematheque Centres are designed to be an alternative and accessible venue to expose audience to both conventional and non-conventional forms of film and programs directed to developing new filmmakers and upgrading the skills of existing ones.
Chair's Corner
Film Director Jose Javier Reyes is officially appointed as the new Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) on April 8, 2024.
Chairman Reyes is the successor of former FDCP Chair Tirso Cruz III. He will officially assume his position as the head of FDCP, bringing more than 40 years of expertise in the Philippine film industry to the national film council.
