Audio-Visual Aid Technician (Cinematheque Centre-Nabunturan)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle all technical requirements and operations for screenings, events, and activities at Cinematheque;
- Ensure the safe and secure transmittal of technical materials among Cinematheque Centre locations;
- Maintain all technical equipment and accessories in excellent condition, ensuring full functionality and operational readiness;
- Implement and adhere to quality control measures for all film materials scheduled for screening;
- Collaborate with the Program Officer to support Cinematheque Centre projects and programs, including information dissemination, research, and related tasks;
- Conduct quarterly inspections of equipment and report concerns or issues to the Audio-visual Aids Technician Lead;
- Perform technical operations and provide support for equipment as needed by the agency;
- Assist in the implementation of programs and events at Cinematheque;
- Maintain, file, and ensure the privacy and security of all related files and documents of the Cinematheque;
- Uphold the integrity, safety, cleanliness, and orderliness of the equipment and facilities within the Cinematheque
- Manage the inventory of all equipment and supplies, submitting quarterly reports to the manager;
- Assist the PDO for Operations with tasks such as audience reports, DTR filing, database management, petty cash handling, and other related duties; and
- Perform other assigned tasks, including providing ad hoc support to the Central Unit, the Division, and other agency programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication, Film Media Studies, or a related field;
- Fresh graduates are welcome; on-the-job training in administrative support or project coordination in the film or media industry preferred;
- Experience in project or event management is a plus;
- Basic knowledge of cinema operations and film programming is an advantage;
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic financial reporting;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
