Description
That’s a wrap for the first-ever ‘FDCP First Draft! Beginner’s Workshop for Regional Storytellers.’
The five-day intensive workshop explored storytelling through the lens, understanding character psychology, integrating symbolism into scripts, and crafting character development to create rich and compelling stories.
Mentors Kyla Romero and Martika Escobar also conducted one-on-one consultations on story development, helping participants prepare for the concept pitch that served as their culminating activity.
To conclude the workshop, the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) presented a roadmap aimed at inspiring the writers to continue their journey, participate in future programs that will further hone their skills, and jumpstart their careers.
This workshop is supported by the Provincial Government of Negros Oriental through its Negros Oriental Provincial Tourism Board.
