Description
The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), in partnership with the Intramuros Administration (IA) through the Inter-Agency Partnership Program (IAPP) and GMA Pictures, marked the Intramuros Administration Founding Anniversary at the FDCP Cinematheque Centre Manila on April 28, 2026.
A special screening of “Jose Rizal,” directed by Marilou Diaz-Abaya, was held for the IA workforce. The film features iconic scenes set within the historic walls of Intramuros, highlighting its enduring role in Philippine history and cultural identity.
The celebration was graced by Intramuros Administrator Atty. Joan M. Padilla, who had an engaging discussion with FDCP Chairman and CEO Jose Javier Reyes, reinforcing the strong collaboration between the IA and the FDCP in advancing their shared mission of promoting Philippine heritage through cinema.
