Project Development Officer II
Festivals Division
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the Festivals Division’s “Spotlight: Philippines” program, including coordinating with international festival organizers in the implementation of partnerships and the programming of films and related activities.
- Assist the Division Head in the planning and execution of the FDCP’s participation in international film festivals and markets.
- Coordinate and negotiate with festival and market organizers, suppliers, and service providers regarding agency participation, booth activations, and related operational requirements.
- Monitor schedules, bookings, logistics, production requirements, and other preparations to ensure that all deliverables are completed within established timelines.
- Coordinate with the other divisions from conceptualization to post-participation as necessary.
- Coordinate with participating films, projects, and filmmakers regarding their participation and required deliverables.
- Plan, manage, and monitor project budgets and expenditures in accordance with approved allocations and government financial procedures.
- Support the Division Head in supervising project implementation and ensuring alignment of festival initiatives with the division’s strategic objectives.
- Assist in the development and implementation of processes for lead generation and stakeholder engagement with international festivals and market partners.
- Establish and maintain baseline and updated data, including profiles and key information on international film festivals and markets relevant to Philippine cinema.
- Conduct research and analysis on international film festival platforms, market opportunities, and industry trends to support program development and strategic planning.
- Provide recommendations to the Division Head to strengthen the international presence and positioning of Philippine films in global festival and market platforms.
- Act as Deputy to the Division Head when designated, assisting in the coordination, supervision, and monitoring of division activities and representing the division in meetings or coordination efforts when required.
- Assist the division in ad hoc assignments and cross-division initiatives.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree relevant to the job
- Four (4) hours of relevant training
- One (1) year of relevant experience
- Career Service Professional / Second Level Eligibility
