Project Development Officer I
Production Support Unit
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and support the overall implementation of the Unit’s Program, ensuring efficient and timely execution of all activities.
- Contribute to the development, planning, execution, and monitoring of the program’s annual cycle and related initiatives.
- Review, evaluate, and provide recommendations on funding applications in accordance with the program’s guidelines and criteria.
- Evaluate deal terms and facilitate the signing of agreements.
- Monitor the project progress and track the fund releases ensuring compliance with deliverables and timelines.
- Conduct regular project monitoring and evaluation to track milestones, progress, and proper utilization of funds.
- Oversee grantee compliance and ensure the fulfillment of contract obligations, including the issuance of completion clearances.
- Prepare, maintain, and organize comprehensive records, data, reports, and documentation of all CreatePH-related matters.
- Recommend updates and improvements to the CreatePH Films guidelines and processes based on monitoring results and industry standards.
- Handle inter-agency coordination in developing and planning for marketing and communication strategy for the promotion of the program
- Keep abreast of local and international best practices in film funding and development to strengthen program competitiveness.
- Handle the operational and technical tasks, such as drafting of the project and budget proposals, liquidation, memorandum of agreement, and preparation of internal memorandum.
- Represent the agency in set visits, premiere participation, campaign, and other external activities of the unit.
- Support the unit in achieving its office performance commitments and targets.
- Spearhead the activation and implementation of the unit’s initiatives and activities as part of the project monitoring.
- Perform other related functions as may be required to support the objectives of the unit.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree relevant to the job
- Training: None Required
- Experience: None Required
- Career Service Professional/Second Level Eligibility
- Strong communication skills with experience in contracts and presentations
- Proficient in end-to-end project planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills; able to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Effective in stakeholder coordination; familiarity with film funding and industry is an advantage
