Project Development Officer

Exhibition Division

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, cleanliness, and general readiness of Cinematheque Centre Manila.
  2. Plan and coordinate film screenings, programs, events, and related logistical requirements.
  3. Coordinate film schedules, partnerships, venue requirements, and other exhibition activities.
  4. Provide quality customer service and address audience inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
  5. Monitor ticket sales and revenue and assist in the preparation of financial and operational reports.
  6. Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and other financial requirements of the Centre.
  7. Implement and coordinate marketing and promotional activities to increase audience attendance and program reach.
  8. Develop and maintain partnerships with local communities, institutions, filmmakers, and other stakeholders.
  9. Monitor the proper use, maintenance, and operational readiness of cinema equipment and facilities.
  10. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, operational standards, and applicable FDCP policies and procedures.
  11. Maintain accurate records of screenings, attendance, revenues, programs, partnerships, and other operational activities.
  12. Prepare and submit regular operational, accomplishment, and other reports as required by the Exhibition Division.
     

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Film, Communication, Arts, or related fields.
  2. At least one (1) year of relevant experience in film exhibition, cinema operations, events, program coordination, or related work is preferred.
  3. Experience in cinema, film, arts and culture, or events is an advantage.
  4. Knowledge of film exhibition and cinema operations; familiarity with DCP operations, V-Mix, and audiovisual systems is an advantage.
  5. Good organizational, communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work with various stakeholders.
  7. Proficient in basic office applications and administrative documentation.
  8. Willing to work on-site, including weekends, holidays, and extended hours when required.
