Communication Unit

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Serves as the Deputy to the Unit Head, providing support in the coordination, supervision, and overall management of unit operations, and representing the unit in meetings and collaborative engagements as needed.
  2. Assists the Unit Head and Strategy Consultant in the strategic planning, development, and execution of marketing and promotional initiatives for FDCP programs.
  3. Oversees day-to-day operations of the unit, including the management of projects and supervision of the production of print materials, digital content, and social media campaigns.
  4. Leads the communications team by setting work priorities, providing direction, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  5. Supports the Unit Head in ensuring that all projects and initiatives are aligned with the strategic goals and objectives  of the FDCP.
  6. Conducts and guides research efforts in collaboration with information officers to analyze trends, identify content opportunities, and assess social media platforms to inform program development and strategic planning.
  7. Manages content production workflows by directing team members and maintaining an organized project tracking system across digital, print, and social media platforms.
  8. Ensures the timely preparation, production, and delivery of all marketing and promotional materials, monitoring progress to meet established timelines and quality standards. 
  9. Assists in the planning, monitoring,  and tracking of  unit budgets and expenditures, ensuring compliance with approved allocations and government financial procedures.
  10. Provides strategic recommendations to the Unit Head to enhance communication initiatives and expand the reach of the FDCP programs. 
  11. Collaborates with other divisions from the conceptualization through execution, and post-project  evaluation, as necessary.
  12. Supports the development and implementation of integrated and muli-platform campaigns. 
  13. Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
     

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor's degree relevant to the job
  2. Eight (8) hours of relevant training
  3. Two (2) year of relevant experience
  4. Career Service Professional/Second Level Eligibility
