RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Information Officer (Communications Specialist) is responsible for driving the Agency’s digital presence, crafting compelling narratives, and executing strategic communication plans. This role involves managing social media channels, producing high-quality content, and collaborating across divisions to elevate public awareness and engagement for FDCP programs and initiatives.

 

Core Responsibilities & Functions

 

  1. Social Media & Community Management

 

  1. Account Moderation: Oversee the Agency’s official social media accounts, ensuring timely content delivery and consistent brand messaging.
  2. Audience Engagement: Interact with the online community by promptly responding to public and private inquiries.
  3. Interactive Campaigns: Design and execute interactive digital campaigns to boost user participation and community growth.
  4. Live Coverage: Execute live-tweeting and real-time streaming for key FDCP events, screenings, and ceremonies.

 

  1. Content Creation & Strategy

 

  1. Communications Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communication strategies to enhance brand visibility.
  2. Copywriting: Draft, edit, and polish engaging copy and official press releases for various agency programs and projects.
  3. Creative Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with the Graphic Designer and Video Producer to guide multimedia assets from concept to final output.
  4. Trend Adaptation: Keep a pulse on evolving social media trends to propose innovative digital approaches.

 

  1. Analytics, Reporting & Cross-Functional Support

 

  1. Data-Driven Insights: Monitor digital performance using analytics tools, utilizing audience data and feedback to optimize future strategies.
  2. Reporting: Assist in generating performance reports that track growth metrics and provide actionable insights for management.
  3. Cross-Division Collaboration: Partner with internal divisions to amplify the promotion of diverse FDCP activities.
  4. Onsite Support: Provide backup photography coverage during live onsite events as needed.
  5. General Duties: Execute other related tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor or management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  2. Work Experience: At least one (1) year of relevant professional experience, preferably in corporate, agency, or institutional settings. (Note: Freelance work, school organizations, and volunteer work will not be considered as professional work experience.)
  3. Technical Skills: Proven experience in content creation, copywriting, digital marketing, and campaign execution. Proficient in online publishing, social media management tools, and digital marketing tools, including Meta Business Suite.
  4. Core Competencies: Creative, detail-oriented, adaptable and has the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Filipino.
  5. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of film, visual storytelling, social media platforms, audience engagement, and emerging digital content trends.
