Policy and Planning Unit

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Supervise and review the legal, policy, and research work and outputs of the Unit;
  2. Review contracts, legal forms, and other related documents and submit recommendations;
  3. Undertake the interpretation of regulations including legal documents in the interest of the Agency’s fulfilment of its mandates;
  4. Prepare legal studies on queries propounded by other government offices and external clients;
  5. Prepare comments, case recommendations, decisions, resolutions on Agency-related matters;
  6. Monitor ongoing policy proposals related to the local film industry and create recommendations related there to;
  7. Assist in drafting policy documents issued by FDCP;
  8. Attend interagency meetings, hearings, and coordination, as necessary;
  9. Draft and/or Review Board Resolutions and assist tghe Board Secretariat;
  10. Ensure compliance with government issuances (e.g. ORAOHRA and RACCS) regarding administrative matters and cases;
  11. Liaise with the Office of the Solicitor General for legal matters and discussions;
  12. Attend hearings and recommend decisions on any and all cases involving FDCP;
  13. Perform other official tasks as may be assigned from time to time by the Management.
     

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor of Laws
  2. Four (4) hours of relevant training
  3. One (1) year of relevant experience
  4. R.A. 1080, as amended (Attorney)
