Attorney III
Policy and Planning Unit
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and review the legal, policy, and research work and outputs of the Unit;
- Review contracts, legal forms, and other related documents and submit recommendations;
- Undertake the interpretation of regulations including legal documents in the interest of the Agency’s fulfilment of its mandates;
- Prepare legal studies on queries propounded by other government offices and external clients;
- Prepare comments, case recommendations, decisions, resolutions on Agency-related matters;
- Monitor ongoing policy proposals related to the local film industry and create recommendations related there to;
- Assist in drafting policy documents issued by FDCP;
- Attend interagency meetings, hearings, and coordination, as necessary;
- Draft and/or Review Board Resolutions and assist tghe Board Secretariat;
- Ensure compliance with government issuances (e.g. ORAOHRA and RACCS) regarding administrative matters and cases;
- Liaise with the Office of the Solicitor General for legal matters and discussions;
- Attend hearings and recommend decisions on any and all cases involving FDCP;
- Perform other official tasks as may be assigned from time to time by the Management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Laws
- Four (4) hours of relevant training
- One (1) year of relevant experience
- R.A. 1080, as amended (Attorney)
