RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1.  Render and prepare digital files for various media and production requirements; 
  2. Prepare digital media assets for DCP production, replication, screening, and archival purposes; 
  3. Perform video editing and other post-production activities for PFA and FDCP projects; 
  4. As needed, perform basic restoration and enhancement of videos and other digital media assets; 
  5. Perform color grading and other image-processing activities appropriate to the requirements of audiovisual materials; 
  6. Maintain and organize records of digital media assets and related project files; 
  7. Provide creative editing and post-production support for screenings, exhibitions, promotional materials, archival projects, and other PFA activities; 
  8. Assist other Divisions in addressing their video editing, post-production, and related production requirements; 
  9. Ensure the proper handling, organization, and preservation of digital files and project assets; and 
  10. Perform other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Graduate of Film, Multimedia Arts, Digital Media, Information Technology, Communication, or any related course. 
  2. With relevant experience in video editing, post-production, digital media preparation, color grading, DCP production, or audiovisual archiving; experience in film or audiovisual production is highly preferred. 
  3. Must be knowledgeable in professional video editing and post-production software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and other relevant editing or color-grading software  
  4. Knowledgeable in video formats, codecs, resolutions, aspect ratios, audio specifications, and digital file management for screening, archival, and production requirements. 
  5. Knowledge of DCP preparation, digital cinema workflows, basic video restoration, image enhancement, and color grading is highly preferred. 
  6. Good oral and written communication skills. 
  7. Good organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple digital assets and project files. 
  8. Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team, and to meet production and project deadlines.
