Administrative and Finance Division

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop an accounting system and strong internal control that serves the needs of the Council which ensures that its revenues (if applicable)/subsidiaries are received, and expenditures made in accordance with existing laws and regulations;
  2. Perform all accounting activities such as:
     
    1. Review the reports submitted by the accounting staff in relation to the Council’s Financial Statements;
    2. Classification, recording and preparation of financial reports;
    3. Consolidation, analysis and interpretation of financial reports;
    4. Maintain the books of accounts of the Council;
    5. Timely submission and reliability of all financial reports including BIR, Pag-ibig, Philhealth & GSIS;
       
  3. Action on documents, letters, memoranda from different stakeholder, management, COA, and other oversight agencies;
  4. Provide technical assistance to offices/divisions/units;
  5. Perform other assignments as may be assigned by the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) - AFD and the Management.
     

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Business Administration major in Accounting
  2. At least one (1) year of relevant experience
  3. Four (4) hours of relevant training
  4. RA 1080 (Certified Public Accountant)
