Invitation to Join the 4th Hanoi International Film Festival 2016

 

The 4th Hanoi International Film Festival (HANIFF), brought to you by the Vietnam Cinema Department under the patron of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, is inviting ASEAN directors and producers to participate by entering their feature films into the festival, slated from the 1st to the 5th of November of 2016 in Hanoi, Vietnam.

 

With this year’s theme of “Cinema - Integration and Sustainable Development,” the 4th HANIFF seeks to be a venue for the celebration and betterment of both Vietnamese and international cinema with film competitions, workshops, conventions, and exhibitions. The HANIFF includes the sections Competitions; Panorama: Presenting Renowned Films of the World; Country in Focus: Indian Cinema; Selection of ASEAN Films; Selection of Italian Films; Selection of Films From Member Countries of TPP (Trans Pacific Partnership); Selection of Contemporary Vietnamese Films; Film Market; HANIFF Campus and Film Project Market; Exhibition; and Seminars.

 

Information and registration are available at the HANIFF website, www.haniff.vn, as well the registration of feature length submissions (no less than 70 minutes and produced from September 1st, 2014, to August 1st, 2016) attached in the document here, to be submitted to [email protected], or to the “VIETNAM CINEMA DEPARTMENT (Secretariat of HANIFF)” at the address provided at the bottom of the document, no later than August 1st 2016.

 

Vietnam is a participating country of the FILM ASEAN, an organization uniting the film industries  and cultural exchange of nations across the Southeast Asian region. Vietnam is also the Country of Focus for the 3rd World Premieres Film Festival this June-July 2016.
