Announcement: FDCP offices to move to downtown Manila on T.M. Kalaw Street

The offices of the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) will be moving to a new location (the former premises of Instituto Cervantes de Manila) on TM Kalaw Street, Ermita, Manila. The National Film Archives of the Philippines (NFAP) will also have offices in the new building.

Cinémathèque Manila, the first-ever cinémathèque in the capital, is to be situated inside the new offices as well.  It contains a film museum, classrooms, a souvenir shop, and by next year, a library.  As the fifth Cinémathèque in the country, joining those in Baguio, Iloilo, Davao, and Zamboanga, Cinémathèque Manila aims to serve as the institution especially dedicated to preserving and enriching the film culture and heritage in the Philippines.

The inauguration of Cinémathèque Manila and the film museum will be on December 15, 2015 with a line-up of activities.  Keep posted to our website for news and updates on inaugural events.
